There were 16 (plus 2 guests) enthusiastic Japanese teachers at our first Benkyo-kai of this academic year. We had a very meaningful discussion while going over the Nangajo Contest for this year. New rules and a slideshow to share with your students will be posted soon! All entries will be displayed at the Kahala Mall for this year's contest. Check back with us for more update.

13 enthusiastic Japanese teachers spent the Saturday morning together at Le Jardin Academy in Kailua to learn from each other. Thank you, Tsukamoto-sensei for hosting the meeting (and providing Toraya's yokan) and making the presentation.

Will Smith Sensei from Waipahu High School shared his new lesson plans and what he accomplished during his 6-month sabbatical in Japan. Did you know there are more than 200 flavors of KitKat in Japan? 12 teachers got to learn so much in 2 hours! Thank you, Will Sensei.
