Will Smith Sensei from Waipahu High School shared his new lesson plans and what he accomplished during his 6-month sabbatical in Japan. Did you know there are more than 200 flavors of KitKat in Japan? 12 teachers got to learn so much in 2 hours! Thank you, Will Sensei. Turn left at the first light (Waipio Point Access Rd). The entrance to the school is about 300 yards on the left. -Summer Professional Development: please share your personal professional development experiences during the summer -How did you begin the school year (e.g. Review lessons, assessment, etc.) -BYOT (bring your own topics) Please invite your peers (non-member teachers are welcome to try out) and join us! Especially if you know of any new teachers, please invite them! Last Benkyo-kai before the summer was held on Saturday. Despite their busy end-of-the-year schedule, many teachers came and shared their materials and skills. Thank you & have a great summer! See you back in August.
