Be sure to inform your high school students that each college requires different foreign language credits for application. Encourage them to take the 3rd year language course as many colleges require 3-year language credits.

Diane Kichijitsu, ダイアン吉日, a Rakugo performer originally from Liverpool, England will be visiting from Osaka to perform Rakugo in English. We had the biggest turnout at today's Benkyo-kai at Waipahu High School. 20 enthusiastic teachers and students shared their ideas and experiences for Japanese language education. Very exciting! Next Benkyo-kai will be Saturday, April 19. Detail to follow. Date: Saturday, March 15, 2014 Time: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM Place: Waipahu High School Room: Q204 Click here for direction to Waipahu High School (Direction from East Honolulu) Just take H1 to exit 8B. Turn left at the first light (Waipio Point Access Rd). The entrance to the school is about 300 yards on the left. Once you go through the gate turn left and follow the road to the parking lot and park. Classroom is Q204. There will be lots of signs up to guide people.
